Why Take a Confined Space Course?

A confined space course will give you the necessary skills to know how to use equipment and procedures when you are working in Confined spaces with restricted access. Working in a confined space takes special skills, and we can provide you with the knowledge to learn and develop these skills.A confined space relates to an area of restricted entry and exit. It may contain potentially harmful levels of a contaminant within the atmosphere, unsafe levels of oxygen or may cause engulfment. Therefore, it is essential to gain a confined space ticket before working in these areas.  For confined space entry, your course will teach you about compliance documentation, including entry and work permits, the safety requirements and the environmental protection requirements. You will also learn about the tools and equipment needed for working in confined spaces.

Our training does not just cover the theory. We give practical, hands-on training that prepares you fully for your job. At the end of your training, our skilled trainers will assess you on what you have learned. Provided you pass your assessment, you will then be provided with certification that demonstrates your ability to work in confined spaces. At Construction Training Group, we also run refresher courses for working in confined spaces, and it is usually recommended that you take a refresher course after 1-2 years.
