These training courses will give you the confidence to understand basic construction safety, control traffic using a stop/slow bat, implement various traffic management plans and apply various methods of first aid techniques when required. The spotters course enables participants to understand the role of the ‘Spotter’ as the safety observer to warn mobile plant operators and crane drivers of proximity to power-lines and underground assets including water, sewerage, power and communications. You must a ticket for the plant you want to spot for, with this excavator ticket you will be able to spot and even operate all types of excavators. On successful completion of this package, you will receive statement of attainment for white card, traffic control, traffic management, electrical spotters, first aid and a nationally accredited excavator ticket!

Selection Criteria
This package is designed so that students complete their white card training first, to then complete RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stop-slow bat and RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plan.
– Attendees must be 18+ years of age for the Electrical Spotter course
– Operator’s ticket or certificate of competency for specific items of plant for which the spotter is required to observe. This Excavator ticket will allow you to spot for an excavator.
All of the above requirements must be uploaded to the QR code portal accessible on your booking confirmation, prior to course commencement.

Day 4: HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
– Apply first aid procedures
– Perform CPR
– Communicate, report and record the incident
