Project Description

Traffice Management Course Geelong
Managing traffic is an essential aspect of many construction projects, so knowing how to do it safely and efficiently is naturally extremely important. Furthermore, it is necessary for anyone conducting traffic management work in Australia to have the relevant units completed, certifying that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform the job correctly.
If you are looking for a quality traffic management course in Geelong, you have come to the right place. Whilst many providers are offering low-quality courses at discount prices, the reality is that such courses are often a waste of time. Only a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) acknowledged and certified by the public authorities is in a position to provide training that will allow participants to obtain the relevant paperwork to enable them to perform traffic control functions on Australian roads.
Here at Construction Training Group, we are proud to be such a provider. We believe that by upholding our commitment to quality training solutions, we are not only serving our valued customers but also the wider community – the whole of which benefits when the highest possible standards are maintained by workers on construction sites, public roads and other potentially hazardous locations.
The Construction Training Group Approach to Training
On our traffic management course, Geelong locals will learn how to safely operate a stop/slow bat in order to keep both construction workers and members of the public safe at all times. Teaching involves a combination of instructor presentations, practical tasks and group activities involving active participation from learners. And once the course is complete, learners are assessed via a combination of written tests and practical demonstrations to allow them to showcase everything they have learnt.
The course runs every week and lasts for 8 hours, and all that you need in order to enrol is to have completed the Construction Induction training course and acquired your White Card from WorkSafe. After you have successfully completed the course and obtained your statement of attainment to conduct traffic management work in Victoria, you will need to complete a refresher course every three years to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date.
