Applicants must have more than six (6) months’ experience in operational or administrative roles in relation to traffic control or traffic management in Australia (within the last two (2) years). A current letter from the employer confirming the above-mentioned requirements needs to be submitted. A template for the letter will be provided by CTG. A self-declaration is completed by students to record this, if self-employed.
Basic written and spoken English is required to understand Australian Standards, OHS Act and Regulations, Compliance Codes/Codes of Practice and undertake the assessment tasks associated with this unit; language and literacy capacity assessed by completion of enrolment form and LLN test.
Basic computing skills to utilise traffic management plan drawing software such as Invarion.
