You will learn all about the operating procedures and safe working practices, which is essential for anyone taking a boom lift course. During your boom lift training, you will learn about the EWP components and dynamics and pre-operational checks. Additionally, you will learn to identify and avoid hazards. You will discover the operator’s duties and responsibilities, WorkSafe Victoria Requirements and have EWP License Testing to meet the WorkSafe Victoria requirements. Upon the completion of your course, you can gain your scissor lift and boom lift certification card, which demonstrates that you can competently work the machinery.

Before your certificate is presented to you, you will need to complete the competency assessment. You will be provided with all the necessary learning materials to pass this assessment. Should you not pass the first time, you will have one other opportunity to pass the assessment, which is an additional cost.
