Locate Underground Services Course

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Basic written and spoken English is required to understand WorkSafe Victoria guidelines, Australian Standards and workplace policies and procedures and undertake the assessment tasks associated with this unit.

Participants will complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment to assess their capacity to meet unit requirements.

Participants will need to have the physical capacity to undertake the practical components of the unit.

– Planning and preparation of the work area
– Working safely, hazards and SWMS
– Select, check tools and equipment
– Obtain information (Dial Before You Dig)
– Using a locator
– Identify, Locate and Protect servicesEach workshop is facilitated by a member of highly experienced training team, and includes presentations, practical and written assessment
