Get a Chainsaw Ticket to Prove You Can Work Safely and Effectively

Working in the construction industry is a rewarding and profitable career choice, but it inevitably demands a great deal of attention to detail when it comes to ensuring that you are working in a safe and effective manner. In Australia, all people employed to work on construction sites must possess certification to demonstrate that they can perform their jobs without causing unnecessary risk to themselves and others – and one such piece of certification is the chainsaw ticket.

If your line of work involves the need to use a chainsaw, you must complete a chainsaw ticket course that will provide you with all the information and skills you need to safely make use of this vital piece of construction equipment. There are a great variety of courses available, but not all of them are fully approved by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Only with an RTO-approved course can you acquire an official chainsaw operator ticket which will allow you to legally operate chainsaws on construction sites here in Victoria and elsewhere across Australia.

The Quality, Affordable Chainsaw Ticket Course You Can Trust

At Construction Training Group, we have been providing outstanding training services to people and businesses in the construction industry for almost twenty years. Our team of highly trained and experienced experts employ a great variety of training styles and techniques to ensure that our courses provide everything each individual learner needs to succeed. To join our course and acquire their chainsaw ticket, Melbourne residents do not need to have completed any previous level of training. All that is required is basic written and spoken English so that you can understand your instructor’s advice, read the relevant safety information and operator’s manuals, and undertake the assessment tasks associated with the course.

By the end of the course, you will have covered all the relevant legislation and manufacturer’s standards, as well as learning various cutting techniques, stripping, assembling, cleaning and maintaining chainsaws, identifying hazards and safely disposing of waste. The course lasts for eight hours and is completed in a single, one-day visit to our site. At the end of the day, you will be assessed using a range of different practical activities and scenarios, and upon successful completion, you will receive your chainsaw ticket in the post shortly and have full certification to use chainsaws safely and legally across the country.
