Backhoe Course & Training
This nationally accredited backhoe training course equips students with the vital knowledge and skills needed to professionally and safely operate a backhoe loader. Led by our experienced and qualified instructors, our in-depth backhoe course has been specifically designed to train those who work or wish to gain employment in operational positions across multiple industries, including the construction sector.
On this course, students learn the ins and outs of operating a backhoe, including planning and preparation, risk assessment, routine checks, attachments, shutting down, storing equipment, maintenance and more. Candidates who complete this training program also will receive their very own Statement of Attainment, which is recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Plus, the professional-level knowledge, skills and confidence acquired on this course will help those seeking new employment and further career advancement within the construction and infrastructure sector.

There are no prerequisites for our Backhoe course.

Course duration
The formal duration of the Beginners and Experienced earthmoving courses depends on the machine:
Backhoe Loader Assessment Only: 4 hours
Backhoe Loader Beginner: 3 Days (8am – 4pm)
