Regardless of whether you are currently employed in the construction industry, running a construction business or simply looking for a change of career and interested in widening the range of opportunities available to you, acquiring new skills and knowledge along with a fully accredited excavator ticket issued by RTO is always an excellent investment.
It is not uncommon to find an excavator course claiming to provide you with all you need to operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently, only to discover that the excavator training in question is in fact not part of a properly registered excavator operator course. Only a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) recognised by the public authorities can provide the training and assessment needed to obtain the relevant ticket for legally operating excavator machinery. Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for our earth-moving courses.
Units of Competency
Our excavator ticket requires satisfactory completion of the following units of competency: RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations
Course duration
The formal duration of the beginners earthmoving courses depends on the machine:
Beginner: 3 Days (8am – 4pm)
Assessment Only (Experienced) : 4 hours

Excavator operator licenses or certifications do not expire and can be used for the duration of your career.
