Our detailed roller training course in Melbourne – also known as a roller license or roller ticket – is designed to teach students how to operate a roller, which is a commonly used machine within the construction industry. Taught by our highly experienced and qualified instructors, the roller course fully trains and qualifies participants to professionally, effectively and safely operate a roller, which can provide better job prospects and further career advancement within the construction and infrastructure sector. Upon successful completion of this training program, each student receives their nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in roller operation. And this valuable roller operator qualification doesn’t just limit professionals to construction either – it can help to broaden horizons and lead to other exciting careers in the mining, agriculture and transport industries.

There are no prerequisites for our earth-moving courses.

The formal duration of the Beginners and Experienced earthmoving courses depends on the machine:
Roller Assessment Only: 4 hours
Roller Beginner: 3 Days (8am – 4pm)

Beginners: $645.00 Per Machine
Experienced: $540.00 Per Machine

Do i need hr licence for roller ticket?

No, you do not need to hold your Heavy Rigid truck licence to operate a roller.

Do you need a ticket to operate a roller?

A roller tickets price varies between $380 to $645. Pricing will depend on the experience level of the operator and how much training is required. It will also depend on whether you obtain the state or national roller ticket. What is a the different between a state and national roller ticket? The main difference between a state and national ticket is some jobs site requirements specify that all operators MUST hold the nationally accredited unit of competency. With any nationally accredited training, you will receive a statement of attainment with a recognised unit of competency for your training records.

This one-day course is taught in person by our highly experienced team in Melbourne who lead presentations, practical activities and group work – so every student is required to participate and contribute in full. Assessments and examinations include written tests and satisfactory completion of practical demonstrations. With prior arrangements, our training team can also provide training at a location of the customer’s choice, such as at a workplace or an appropriate worksite.
